The Brighter Light

It's so dark
and oh so cold.
But when I believe
I see that bit of light.
My heart starts to warm
and the more I get to know you,
The brighter the candle burns...
and the warmer my heart gets.
For I love you my father in heaven.
You make me smile
like no one else can.
And you hold me tight
so that I know I'm protected.
I just want to say thanks,
for being here,
for crating me,
and helping me me become
who I am today.
